Manage agents, models and accounts

Choose the right CLI and model for a task, while keeping provider accounts separate from your connected business tools.

Before you start

Know which agent subscription or API-backed model you intend to use. Code Overlord launches agent CLIs; the provider controls authentication, model availability and usage limits.

Add or select an agent

  1. Open Armoury → Agents.
  2. Refresh detected agents, or use the install action for a supported missing agent.
  3. For a custom CLI, add a Grunt with its documented command, flags and paste mode.
  4. Launch the agent and complete its own sign-in flow.
  5. Ask it to identify the active model or inspect the provider's status controls before starting substantial work.

Built-in launchers include Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, Cursor and Pi. Running another CLI in a terminal does not establish identical tool injection, resume behaviour or model-profile support.

Choose a model

Use the CLI's supported model selection for normal provider models. For a supported Claude-oriented model profile, configure the profile in Code Overlord and select it for the relevant Grunt or Minion. Store credentials in the available secret fields rather than in a prompt.

Pi uses its own provider sign-in and model selection; Code Overlord's Claude-oriented profiles are not translated into Pi provider configuration.

Manage accounts and limits

Use the provider's own account controls to change the coding-agent login. Review that provider's session or account usage view when approaching limits. After a change, verify the identity in a new session before continuing.

Jira, Google, Slack and other integration account assignments are a separate configuration. Changing a Minion's integration account does not switch its coding-model subscription.

Example instruction

Before starting this review, report the working directory and the agent/model information available to you. If provider status is unavailable, say so rather than inferring the account or remaining quota.

Check the result

Confirm the intended CLI and model are active and its tools work. Provider subscriptions still have limits; alternative API models and managed compute may have additional charges. A matching Orca-style hot-swap and usage-reset dashboard is not documented for Code Overlord.
